I have so many emails on a daily basis asking me about my work and the studio, so I’ve put together a questions and answers post that will hopefully help some of you.
Do you shoot older children?
Yes I do. Although I specialize in newborns, I will of course work with your child regardless of age.
Can you do maternity pictures?
Yes. I would love to work with you to create some maternity pictures. I have done in the past and it’s a great time to capture such a beautiful moment in your life.
Will there be somewhere to change my baby?
Of course. We have a baby changing table with a selection of nappies/ wipes/ nappy bags should you run out or forget to bring them.
Is there somewhere I can warm a milk bottle?
We have a full kitchen available to you at the studio, so help yourself or ask your photographer!
Are the props clean?
Yes we wash every single prop between every baby. You will see me throw the props onto the floor after I have used them with your newborn. They are then put into the washing pile and washed in non-bio detergent before being put back into our prop piles. If it’s a metal/ wooden prop it will be wiped down with an antibacterial wipe before the next client arrives. If you want a specific item available to you and you don’t have the first session of the day, please let us know before the day of your shoot so we can make sure it’s not used on another baby as we are unable to wash between sessions if we have a fully booked day.
Can I bring somebody with me?
Of course. We only have seating for two adults in the studio, so if you can limit it to yourself and one other person, that would be great. If however you really want to bring somebody else, please inform us before the day of the shoot.
I’ve booked a cake smash session, how can I clean my baby?
There is a bathroom available to you with freshly cleaned towels (washed in non-bio detergent) together with a selection of baby shampoo and wash products. You are more than welcome to bathe your baby after a messy session. We will also provide carrier bags for their messy clothes if you brought their own outfit to shoot in.
If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact me 🙂
